Do You Know Jesus?

Dear Friend,

If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, now is the perfect day to accept Him. He loves you! Pray this prayer with me, and Christ will come into your heart and save you:

“Lord, I’m a sinner in need of a savior. I recognize that without you, I’m nothing. I need your help. I choose to lay down my life and give it to you, inviting you into my heart to be my savior and Lord. Forgive me of my sins. Deliver me. I choose to receive your Holy Spirit. Fill me to overflowing with your presence and your love. Create in me the heart you desire. In Jesus’ name. Amen”

If you prayed this prayer, you have received salvation from Jesus Christ. Accepting Him as your Lord and savior is the only thing you need to do in order to be saved.

Even so, there is so much more He wants for you. He wants you to give Him your whole heart and trust Him with every part of your life. He wants you to walk with Him, as a disciple, into a place of freedom beyond anything you’ve imagined.

It’s not possible to walk this path alone. The enemy will try to oppress you with the weight of his lies, keep you from growing in Christ, and turn you away from God. We need each other! God intends us to grow in fellowship with each other and walk together as His disciples.

Find someone who is walking with the Lord – someone you can trust, who shows fruit of a life-giving relationship with Christ – and tell this person you’ve accepted Christ as your Lord and savior. Ask this person to lead you in discipleship or to connect you with someone who can lead you.

Get involved in a Bible-based, Christ-following church that shows fruit of a genuine life in Christ: active discipleship, community outreach, nurturing, love, fellowship, Spirit-filled worship, and a hunger for truth. A place where you can see people growing daily in the fruits of the Holy Spirit: “Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23).
