Philippians 2:12 invites us to work out our salvation, while Hebrews 12:15 reminds us not to let bitter roots spring up. God has worked in my life through inner healing (transformation) ministry to help me live in greater freedom.
Here are several more scriptures that prompt this amazing adventure of transformation: 2 Corinthians 3:18, Galatians 6:7, Ephesians 6:2, Matthew 7:1-2, Jeremiah 17:9, Matthew 18:22, Matthew 5:37, Luke 6:37, and so many more. The entire biblical narrative is a prompting to invite God to transform our heart and life.
The ministry through which God has worked to help me along this transformation journey is Transformations. I have personally been involved with Transformations since 2007 and recommend this ministry highly.
I also enjoy writing articles about the transformation (inner healing) process on my own blog as well as the Transformations blog:

If you are interested in exploring transformation (inner healing) in more depth, I recommend reading through the Transformations blog, in which many of my friends have shared their articles and testimonies. And Kerri Johnson, the founder and coordinator of Transformations, has written an article on forgiveness that I always refer people to read: Wash, Rinse, Repeat.
